What we collect

When you use Pizza Selector, we may collect:

• Location data — your approximate location (via browser geolocation or zip/postal code you enter) to find nearby pizza places. This is stored locally on your device and not sent to our servers.
• Account info — if you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address via Google OAuth. This is used solely to attribute your price submissions.
• Price submissions — pizza prices you submit are stored in our database and displayed publicly to help other users.

Cookies and tracking

We use localStorage to remember your location preference. We do not use tracking cookies ourselves. However, third-party services on our site may set cookies:

• Google AdSense — serves ads and may use cookies to personalize them. See Google's ad policy.
• Google OAuth — handles sign-in. See Google's privacy policy.
• Supabase — our backend provider stores account and submission data. See Supabase's privacy policy.

How we use your data

• To show you pizza places and prices near your location
• To display your submitted prices to other users
• To show your display name on your public submissions
• To serve relevant advertisements

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Price submissions are public by design. We share data only with:

• Supabase (database hosting)
• Google (authentication and advertising)

Your choices

• You can use Pizza Selector without signing in (search and browse are anonymous)
• You can deny browser location access and use zip/postal code instead
• You can sign out at any time to stop being associated with future submissions
• You can opt out of personalized ads at Google Ad Settings

Children

Pizza Selector is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
